FAQ:
“The shared User ID and Password used to be sent out with every H.O.G. Snorts edition notice. Two questions: (a) why is it no longer included and (b) how do I get it again if I’ve forgotten it?”
Response:
re: (a) We are no longer including the shared User ID and Password for the website when we sent out H.O.G. Snorts edition notices, or other notices, so that we may better protect the members-only content.
re: (b) If you do not have the current shared User ID and Password information, please contact the MEMBERSHIP Officer so that your current membership status can be verified then you will be provided with the login information (while we are planning to automate this process it might be a while into the future before that is implemented, so we thank you in advance for your patience with this process). You can also obtain this information in person from the Membership Officer at any Chapter Meeting.
Additional Info:
We have started the process to phase out the the shared User ID and Password. The shared login will be replaced by individual logins for each member. This will be the first in many steps that will help us to automate some of the background processes. 
The timeline:
- October 1st – Website Registration Opens
- Each Snorts edition Oct – end of year will have a reminder.
- Late December we will send out a final reminder to the RockyMountainHOG Google group.
- January 1, 2012 the shared login will be deactivated.
