Group Ride

2010 Toy Run

The image shown here is from the 2011 Toy Run … an awesome picture, a fabulous heartwarming experience, and very very highly recommended to everyone. But … please note that it is not a typical group ride for us in terms of grouping size, Road Captain / Rider ratios, ignoring traffic signals, having a police escort. We typically ride in groups of not more then 20, with 2 to 3 Road Captains per group, obey all traffic signals, and do not have a police escort.

If you choose to participate on groups rides with the Chapter, it is your responsibility to be familiar with our group riding practices. The Road Captains will do their best to cover basic group riding information before each ride, but please also take the time to read or review the safety, group riding, and other information provided in this section. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them by contacting the Safety Officer, the Head Road Captain, or any other Officer or Road Captain as desired.

Above all – “ride your own ride” and let us know how we can work with you to ensure every ride with us is as safe and fun for you as possible!
