Colorado has some of the most scenic roadways in America. These roadways include 28 mountain passes that are on paved roads and are at least 10,000 feet in elevation. The RM H.O.G. Chapter is introducing a new program to encourage active members to visit all 28 10,000 foot passes beginning on January 1 and ending around November 1.
Please keep in mind that there are weather considerations to think about due to the altitudes of these passes. It is not unusual to have hail and/or freezing rain in July at some of these passes. So be prepared for anything to happen. Also, you may find signs missing for some reason. You will need to be creative with your photo in order to show that you were at the pass.
