If you went to RMHD and were not able to get a wristband, I apologize for that. If you cannot make it RMHD to register, or have been there and were not able to register, you can send me an email to RSVP. If you do this, it is important that you actually show up.If you are not sure you are going to come, you will have to register day of and pay the extra $5. I have received a few emails from people who do not like the way we are doing this, and I will try to make it easier for everyone. As I said. you can RSVP via email to me, BY SATURDAY, and still get the lower price. I am attaching a flyer and the route we are planning to ride. As always, if the weather does not cooperate, we will do the ride in cages.

Hey Everyone! I am sending this to remind you all that one of our best rides is coming up. On Sunday May 20, the LOH is doing the annual Progressive Meal Ride. This year, we are going to do things a little differently. You must pre-register! To do so, please go to RMHD by Saturday May 19, see Melinda Sharshel at the front desk and tell her you need to register for the ride. It will cost $15. We are doing this because we need a head count so we are sure we get enough food for everyone. When you register, you will receive a wristband. You need to wear the wristband the day of the ride. If you lose your wristband, we will also have a record of who has purchased them so you will be okay. It will expedite things if you wear the wristband. You will get breakfast, lunch and dessert on this ride.

BE AWARE!!!

If you do not pre-register, and show up anyway, it will cost you an extra $5 per person, or $20. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER!!!

Meet at RMHD , Sun. May 20, 8:30 am….Last bike out at 9:15 Those who have offered to donate a dessert and are unable to transport your goodies on the day of the ride, please bring your dish to RMHD by 1 pm. Someone will be there to collect them. Please be sure they are covered properly for transport and in a disposable container (if possible) so there are no dishes to clean or transport after the ride. Contact Eddie Dane @ 720-272-7537 with any questions.

Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Everyone! It is time for another chapter meeting!! As always, on the second Tuesday of the month we will have our monthly chapter meeting at Red and Jerry’s 1840 W. Oxford, (Santa Fe and Oxford) in Sheridan. The meeting starts at 7:30, but you can show up anytime after six, grab a bite to eat, have a drink, and socialize!

We are going to do things a little differently this year for the LOH Progressive meal ride. We will be selling wristbands, in advance for $15 each, per person. If you do not get one in advance, it will be $20 on the day of the ride. We need to do this to try and get an accurate head count so we are sure we have enough food at each stop. For those who don’t know, the Progressive Meal Ride goes to a couple of different locations (members homes) and you will get breakfast, a ride, and lunch and dessert at the last stop. This is a fun ride and a great way to get to know some new people, and do what we bikers love to do….EAT…EAT…EAT! Please remember to bring cash or checks payable to “RMHOG” for $15 if you are planning to do this ride.

We still have chapter t-shirts for sale too. Get yours and represent our chapter at the state rally! $30 men’s $25 women’s

See you Tuesday night!

Wild Animal Sanctuary Ride Tour at noon $10 per person Meet at RMHD 9:00 – 10:00 am Leaving at 10:00

We will ride from Rocky to 128th and Quebec to meet up with other riders. From there we will ride to The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keensburg, CO.

This is a cool place to see lions, and tigers, and bears…(oh my!) Lots of animals that have no other place to go, These people take in animals from bad situations and give them a very nice habitat that they can flourish in. It is a very nice facility.

Ride will officially end when we arrive at the sanctuary.

http://www.wildanimalsanctuary.org/

I will not be at the dealership on Saturday morning. I will meet you guys 128th and Quebec at 11, therefore, I need someone to run registration for me. Probably a couple of people. All you have to do is have people sign a waiver. Easy! Please let me know if you can help with this.

*************************************************************************************************

Also on Saturday- RMHOG Meet and Greet at RMHD On the Saturday before our chapter meeting, we set up a table at the dealership and promote the chapter, and try to recruit new members. If you are not going on the ride and want to earn some AWOL points anyway, we need volunteers to be at RMHD between 11-2. I need someone to set up and put it away, as I will be out on the ride, and Shad is out of town, so we need some folks to step up and help out. If you can be there to set up at 11 or put things away at 2, please let me know. You don’t need to be there the whole time, you can come help for an hour or two. It’s a good time to get some shopping done as well!

Hello! Tuesday, April 24 is Pizza Night at Children’s Hospital. For those who don’t know, on the fourth Tuesday of each month our chapter serves pizza to the patients and their families at the hospital. If you would like to volunteer to help out, just be at the hospital at 5:30 and report to the volunteer room. You can ask at the information desk where it is. This is a heartwarming and fulfilling way to help these folks out just a little. Some have been there for weeks or months. Thanks for helping out! Children’s Hospital is just west of I-225 and a block north of Colfax.
