Don’t forget, this Saturday , Feb. 18 is AWOL Saturday at RMHD. Get double points on your AWOL loyalty card on purchases. Lydia will be there sewing patches, so get your HOG patches at the meeting, and bring them in to RMHD and have the best in the biz sew them on the new leather you got at the swap meet. If you didn’t get new leather, see Sara at the dealership. She can hook you up!

    The chapter is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. We will do our best to take care of your stuff, but last year, something did disappear. We also will be asking for 10% of your sales to help pay for the booth.

   Chapter members are encouraged to come by and visit our booth, but please try not to have a huge crowd just hanging out in front of our space. I think that was a contributing factor to the helmet disappearing last year.  We do want you to come by though! Our main purpose for doing this is to promote Rocky Mountain HOG!

   This is the last call for volunteers. If you volunteer, you are eligible to get a two day pass for the price of 1 day admission. I need your money ($15 per person) by Thursday evening. I am hoping if you see Melinda at RMHD, she will collect it for me. I have a schedule worked out, and will contact all volunteers by Thursday, hopefully sooner. If you volunteered, and want to know when I have you scheduled, please reply to this email and I will send you the schedule.

I will need a head count from our chapter by January 14, 2012. Please reply to this email if you’re interested in going up to Blackhawk with the area HOG chapters. The shuttle will leave Sun HD at 4 pm with check in between 2:30 and 3:15, and the shuttle back will leave the casino at 9:30 pm, Early-bird check-ins will get a free door prize.

The swap meet is coming up January 28-29, 2012. Our main objective as a group at our booth is to recruit new members. As a courtesy to our members we will allow you to sell MOTORCYCLE RELATED items at our booth. You must do a few things to help us out, if you want to sell your items. First, you must clearly mark your things with your name, and price you want for that item. I also need you to inventory everything, neatly, on one list. I will provide the form for this. New for this year, I am asking everyone who will have stuff for sale to be there on Sunday afternoon to take your items that did not sell. It is a nightmare getting everything packed and then out of the building on Sunday evening, so if you can be there to take your stuff, it would help a ton. If there is absolutely no way you can be there, please contact me and I will see what we can work out. I will also need volunteers to work the booth. I would like to have people work two-hour shifts, so if you want to help out, please let me know what day(s) you can work and approx. times. I will compile a schedule and let everyone know when I need them.

First of all, I hope you already have your reservations to join us for New Year’s Eve at the Sheraton Denver West. If you have not been to this party in the past, it recommend you give it a try. You will get a room, a four-course dinner for two, live music and dancing with Vivid Black, champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight, a great view of the fireworks downtown, breakfast in the morning, and a late checkout so you can nurse your hangover. All this for $229 per couple. Great value for your money. This price is good for HOG members only, but it is open to the public, for a little more.
