The Sturgis Bike Rally is widely anticipated by motorcyclists around the world. This year’s rally is held August 8th-14th. Not able to make it to Sturgis this year? Why not join chapter members for the Can’t Do Sturgis Ride? Our group will ride about 190 miles (about 3 hours and 40 minutes) to The Bunkhouse Bar and Grill located just west of Cheyenne, WY. We’ll meet at RMHD at 10:00 am and leave by 10:30am. And travel north on I-25 to the Dacono exit. From here we will travel west to Highway 287 north to Laramie. In Laramie we’ll catch I-80 eastbound for a few miles then take exit 323 from I-80 to WY-210 E. From here it’s about 23.6 miles to The Bunkhouse. We’ll be able to buy a tasty lunch before heading back to Denver. This trip is a bit lengthy and takes us mostly along rural highways. Wyoming is famous for being quite windy. Be aware that you might encounter strong head or cross winds on the ride. There might also be instances of road construction along the way. We’ll plan a couple of stops along the way. One for fuel in Ft. Collins, and a second stop at the Lincoln Monument near the I-80, WY-210 E intersection.
