Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson opened its doors for business on February 10, 1979 in a 9,000 sq ft a shop located on Bowles Avenue in Littleton. Within three years RMH-D become one of the top 20 dealerships in the nation, and in 1981 they earned “Promoter of the Year” recognition. In 1982 RMH-D relocated to to a ~12,000 sq ft shop on Broadway in Englewood. This “big” shop eventually became too small and in 1998 planning, designing, and building began for the current 30,000 sq ft County Line Road location which opened its doors on April 4, 2000. The old location ended life with a “Give Our Regards to Broadway” send-off attended by nearly 5,000 people, and the new store began life with a roar – hosting the 2000 National and International Harley-Davidson Dealer Convention!
